How booking
and paying work

Everything the rest of this site says about booking and paying, in one place.

Who these are with

  • Surprise Inc. is me, Taylor. I wrap gifts and plan surprises around the Atlanta metro area. These terms cover booking gift wrapping with me, the invoices I send you, and paying them. For a surprise or an event, the deposit, when the rest is due and what happens if plans change are agreed with you when I quote it.
  • What I hold about you, and why, is on my privacy page.

What it costs

  • Wrapping is priced per person, by how many gifts they have: up to five, up to ten, or up to twenty. The whole family goes on one level, Standard or Luxe. More than twenty for one person and I quote it.
  • Every booking needs at least 72 hours' notice, so never the same day, and Luxe needs 7 days so I can source it. On Luxe there is a material discount if you want me to use your own paper, and if you run short I finish with Standard complimentary paper and Luxe trim rather than sourcing more of yours.
  • Coming to you is $50 within 20 miles of Dunwoody, then $1 a mile after that, and I confirm the exact number with you before anything is charged.
  • Stocking stuffers are only on your booking if you add them. Each one is $50 for me to shop and fill it, plus what the items cost, billed at cost once I have bought them. Add any and one stocking fee is on me, however many you book.
  • A gift a little bigger than you said, I absorb. A significant difference may cost more, and I always ask you first.
  • Add gifts to your list right up until your date. If you end up with more than you booked for, I adjust your final invoice.

Paying

  • 50 percent holds your date, and the rest is due 72 hours before it. Your date is the day you booked with me: the day I come to you, or the day you drop your gifts off with me.
  • I email you the invoice for the rest before then, with anything added since you booked on it. If it is not paid by then, I will reach out.
  • If you ask me for something extra on the day, like one more gift or something to put together, I send you an invoice for it right there. Anything added on the day is due before I leave, or before you pick up your gifts.
  • Each invoice comes by email with its own private link, and an access code printed beside it. It says what it is for, what is due, and how to pay me by Venmo, cash or check.
  • When an invoice offers to take a card, you pay on Stripe's own secure checkout page, never on this site, so your card number never touches it. Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link work there too.
  • Once an invoice is paid, its link opens to your receipt, so you can print it or save it whenever you like. When you pay by card, I email you the receipt myself.

Your gifts

  • I will not post a picture of your wrapped gifts anywhere without asking you first.

Cancelling and sales tax

  • If you cancel. Cancel 30 days or more before your date and I refund everything you have paid. Cancel 14 to 29 days before and I refund it all less 25 percent of your deposit, so if you have paid a $100 deposit, $75 comes back. Cancel less than 14 days before and I cannot refund anything you have paid. I count the days from the day your message reaches me, and a card payment is refunded to the same card. To cancel, reply to any email from me.
  • Sales tax. I do not add sales tax to my prices right now. If that ever changes, you will see it on your invoice before you pay.

Questions about any of this? Reply to any email from me, or write to me at taylor@surpriseinc.co, and I will sort it out. Last changed Oct 12, 2026.
